Patrice Trichel Harper is a lifelong resident of the Black Lake Community in Natchitoches Parish.  For over ten generations her family has hailed from the same area.  She is happily married to Jared Harper for over 23 years and together they have one son Zane Harper.

Patrice graduated from Campti High School in 1989. She then attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches where she graduated with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. She has been employed for over 25 years with Natchitoches Parish School Board where she finds joy in teaching gifted students.

 

Patrice was elected Justice of the Peace in Natchitoches Parish, Ward 2 in 2008 and has proudly served her district since.  Helping others is a passion she enjoys.
