Weddings

Traditional wedding vows are used unless the couples want their own. A link to the vows can be found below.

To get married you will need:

• a marriage license, which may be obtained at any Louisiana Clerk of Courts office.  The Natchitoches Parish Clerk of Court Website is https://npclerkofcourt.org/.

•  two adult witnesses for the ceremony.

Weddings are by appointment only. However, it is possible to get married today contact the JP for her schedule.

If the ceremony takes place at the JP Office, no tobacco or illegal substances are allowed on the premises.

For a ceremony in the JP's office the maximum number of people allowed is 8 (including wedding couple). Any additional guests will be turned away. We can accomodate small ceremonies only in office.

Ceremonies are expected to begin at scheduled time. There will be an additional charge for ceremonies that begin 15 minutes or more late.

A simple ceremony performed during office hours Monday through Friday will cost $100.

​

Friday after 5PM , Saturdays, and Sundays are $120 for each day.

A more complex and elaborate wedding at a remote venue requiring travel and/or a rehearsal in addition to the wedding will cost more.
